Windows Internal Error. Why it Happens.
Remote Desktop Windows internal error happens mainly because the security method to be used for remote connections to Remote Desktop Session Host servers is not specified at the Group Policy level. Which I don't understand but that's not the point✌. In my case, I only found windows internal error because of this special requirement of a specific security layer for Remote Desktop Connections for a virtual Windows Server 2012. Also, avoid using VPN if you are getting a windows Internal error.
To solve windows internal error simply Press Win + R and type in the full path of windows Group Policy Editor gpedit.msc and click OK.
Now In Your Local Group Policy Editor go to Computer Configuration/ Administrative Template/ Windows Component and double-click on Remote Desktop Services.
Then open the Remote Desktop Session Host/Security.
Then open the policy Require use of specific security layer for remote (RDP) connections and enable it to RDP.
After that press Windows key + r and type in gpupdate /force to update the group policy that we have just changed.
After that do a normal restart and Voila, Windows Internal Error is fixed.
